Lesley quesada
Owner and Principal, LQ Design LLC
Lesley Quesada is the owner and principal of LQ Design LLC, an award-winning design studio focusing on all print and web media and illustration. Her work has been recognized by Print Magazine and American Corporate Identity.
Lesley grew up in southern Frederick County, Maryland, and now calls Pennsylvania home. She graduated summa cum laude in 1998 from Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WVa, earning a B.F.A. degree in art, with a concentration in graphic design. She stood out as a top student at Shepherd, receiving various collegiate awards and acknowledgements. Her career lead her to the DC-area as a designer at WorkHorse Creative in Bethesda, MD, and a senior designer at Media Plus Design, Washington, DC. Lesley also taught design to students at Kaplan University in Hagerstown, MD.
A founding charter member of AIGA Blue Ridge, Lesley stays active in the design community, donating her time and efforts to non-profits. Constantly giving back to the community she loves, she designs pro bono often with the local Civitan Clubs, as well as Saint Andrew the Apostle Catholic School in Waynesboro, PA.
Notable clients include: The Girl Scouts of the USA Headquarters, Maryland School for the Deaf, National Crime Prevention Council, Time-Life Music and Video, Tobacco Free Kids, and AED.
Lesley resides with her husband, two sons, and a daughter in Waynesboro, PA, filling her spare time as a skater with the Mason-Dixon Roller Vixens.
